Charter, hire and sailing schools
Websites for yacht charter, boat hire and sailing schools that take the booking
A charter or sailing school website has one job: turn a search for a course, a boat or a day on the water into a booking. We build booking-led sites with a page for every course and every boat, live availability or a booking request, deposits, and the details a customer checks before paying. UK-wide with a focus on the Solent; fixed prices from £599.

Who books
Three kinds of customer, three kinds of page
The learner
Searches the course by name and the place, often months ahead and often as a gift. Wants dates, the price, what is included and what happens on day one. A page per course, with every date listed, wins it.
The charterer
Searches the boat type and the water, skippered or bareboat, for a weekend or a week. Wants the boats, the berths, the price by season and availability. A page per boat, and one per charter type, wins it.
The day out
Searches 'boat hire' or 'RIB trip' with a harbour, usually close to the date and on a phone. Wants the price, the times and a booking that takes a minute. A fast page with the next available slots wins it.
The build
What goes into a booking-led marine site
The structure follows the booking: from the search, to the page for the exact course or boat, to a booking in as few steps as possible.
How those pages rank through the season is on marine SEO.
- A page for every course, named the way it is searched, with all its dates and the price
- A page for every boat: berths, length, equipment, photographs, price by season
- Availability from your booking system, or a booking request with a card deposit
- Skippers and instructors with their qualifications, and the recognition or accreditation you hold, linked to the body that granted it
- Practical pages: what to bring, where to park, accommodation, what happens if the weather turns
- Gift vouchers, if you sell them, on their own page for the searches that come in before Christmas
- Pages light enough to load quickly on mobile data at the harbour
Price
Fixed prices, built remotely
The same published prices as every build. Most charter companies and schools need the Business site.
Starter
£599
The smallest site we build: home, a page for every service, your work or your menu, who you are, and a form that reaches your phone. Not a one-page site
Business site
£1,200
The full site: fourteen to eighteen pages, every service, the areas from Ocean Village to Totton, the people, an enquiry path on every page, and more pages over time with the monthly work
Online payment and booking-system connections are quoted after the audit. Everything else is on the pricing page.
Questions charter companies and schools ask
Can customers book and pay a deposit online?
Yes. If you already use a booking system, we put its booking link or widget on every boat and course page. If you do not, the site can show availability and take a booking request with a deposit through a card payment, with the confirmation going to your inbox and phone. We recommend which route in the audit.
What should a sailing school's website include?
A page for every course you run, named the way people search for it, with the dates, the price, what is included, the boat, where it starts and how to book. Then the practical pages: what to bring, accommodation nearby, the instructors, and the recognition or accreditation you hold, stated plainly with a link to the body that granted it.
How do charter and hire sites get found?
By the boat type and the water: skippered or bareboat charter on the Solent, day boat hire on the Hamble, RIB experiences from a particular harbour. A page for each combination you offer, with prices and availability, ranks far better than a single page listing everything. Seasonal pages need to be live two to three months before the season.
Do we need to show safety and certification details?
You should show what a customer needs to trust you: the qualifications of skippers and instructors, the boat's commercial certification where it is commercially operated, the safety equipment and the briefing. Put it on the boat and course pages as text, not only as logos.
You are not on the water yourselves. How does that work?
The studio is in Wrexham and the work is remote, which we would rather say than hide. You know the boats, the courses and the water; we know how people search for them and how to build pages that take a booking. The site is written from calls with you and your own photographs.
