Marine websites
Marine website design for engineers, riggers, surveyors and boat businesses
A marine business website should be found by the owner who needs it, which means a page for each engine make, service and stretch of water you actually work on, not one list of everything. We build marine sites that way, with your approvals and certifications as text, request forms that reach the person who quotes, and pages fast enough for pontoon 4G. UK-wide with a focus on the Solent; fixed prices from £599.

By the kind of business
The pages each marine business needs
Engineers and electricians
A page per engine or equipment make you service, the approvals you hold for each, the waters you cover, and a request form that asks for the make, the model and where the boat is kept.
Riggers and sailmakers
Standing and running rigging, inspections, insurance surveys of the rig, the boat sizes you work on, and the yards and marinas you visit.
Surveyors
Pre-purchase, insurance, valuation and tonnage surveys as separate pages, your qualifications and memberships written out in full, typical turnaround and how to book.
Chandlers and suppliers
The departments people search for, the brands you stock, opening hours that change with the season, and click-and-collect or trade accounts if you offer them.
Marinas, brokers and charter firms need more: see marina websites, yacht broker websites and charter and sailing school websites.

Starter
£599
The smallest site we build: home, a page for every service, your work or your menu, who you are, and a form that reaches your phone. Not a one-page site
Business site
£1,200
The full site: fourteen to eighteen pages, every service, the areas from Ocean Village to Totton, the people, an enquiry path on every page, and more pages over time with the monthly work
Everything included is on the pricing page. The build is remote, from our studio in Wrexham.
Questions marine businesses ask about their website
What makes a marine website different?
The way owners search. They type the make of engine, the model of boat, the service and the water: 'Volvo Penta service Lymington', not 'marine engineering services'. A marine site needs a page for each of those combinations you actually serve, with your approvals and certifications as text, so it can match them. A generic template with one services page cannot.
Which marine businesses do you build for?
Marine engineers, riggers, surveyors, electricians, upholsterers and canvas makers, chandlers, boatyards, marinas, brokers, charter firms and sailing schools. Marinas, brokers and charter businesses have their own pages because their sites need extra features: tariffs and berth requests, listing pages, and bookings.
Do we need online booking?
Often a request form is enough: the boat, the make and model of engine, where it is kept and what is needed, sent straight to the person who quotes. If you already use a booking or job system with an online link, it goes on every service page instead.
How long does a marine site take to start ranking?
The pages can be indexed within days of launch, but competitive service searches take months, and seasonal pages need to be live two to three months before their season. The site is built ahead of the season it serves for that reason.
We are a one-person business. Is this overkill?
Not if the pages match your work. The smallest build is a home page, four to six service pages, your work, about and contact. A rigger or an engineer usually needs exactly that, with the makes and waters named.
